Events like the Service Leaders Summit and Focus Days are basically open for everyone who is concerned with service in manufacturing industries. Those events are always a perfect opportunity to meet a lot of colleagues who deal with similar issues in other companies. But the fact, that competitors from the same industry may attend the same event, has a limiting impact on the openness during presentations, discussions and Q&A sessions.
With the Service Leaders Circle ISLA offers a members-only event format which allows a more extensive exchange of ideas and views as well as a candid discussion — off the record and in an atmosphere of mutual trust. Only one company per industry can take part in each circle. The 1-industry-1-company rule makes sure to avoid competitive situations and prevent conflicts with corporate compliance. Confidential information must not be disclosed to anyone who did not take part in the meeting. All ISLA members are invited to establish own Service Leaders Circles where they discuss topics of their interest within a defined group of 8 – 12 colleagues whose companies are not competitors. A Service Leaders Circle meets twice a year, usually hosted by another group member at his or her company’s site. Until the coronavirus is contained, the meetings will be held online on Zoom.
